What if the problem is not your eyes?
A difference your optician already trusts
Most eye strain comes from the subconscious fight against shadows and glare from poor overhead lighting. A floor reading light is the logical answer: a controlled, precise pool of full-spectrum daylight placed exactly where you need it.
This is why more than 500 independent opticians recommend our lights. It is a difference they see in their patients. If your optician has mentioned Serious Readers, this is the light they mean.
Which floor light is right for you?
The HD Original is the choice 80% of customers make. Same light engine as the Pro, adjustable beam, stepless dimmer with memory. For £50 more than the Essential, it adapts to how you read.
The HD Pro adds cordless and remote options to the same light engine for those who want to go cable-free.
The HD Essential is simpler. Wide beam, press-and-hold dimming, same core spectrum.
Most readers find the Original gives them everything they need.
