Terms and conditions

Sales on this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and we will not accept amendments to them.

These terms cover the Serious Readers website only. Where we link to another website, that site is not under our control and we take no responsibility for what is on it.

Nothing here affects your legal rights.

Prices

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery is charged separately and the cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Prices, offers and products depend on availability and can change at any time before we accept your order.

Your order

When you place an order we treat it as an offer to buy, and we email you to confirm we have received it. We are not obliged to accept every order, and if we decide not to accept yours we will email you as soon as we can to tell you.

Cancelling your order

You can cancel within 14 days of the day your order arrives, without giving a reason, and you then have a further 14 days to send it back. We also give you a home trial of 90 days on the High Definition Original and Pro, and 30 days on the High Definition Essential, Mini and ROAM. Our returns and refunds policy sets out how both work and how to arrange a collection.

Delivery

We deliver by post or by courier, and you can give us permission to leave your parcel with a neighbour. Deliveries arrive Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.30pm. We do everything we can to meet the delivery times we quote, but they depend on carriers and on conditions outside our control, so we cannot guarantee them. Our shipping policy has the detail.

Offer codes

If you have an offer code, enter it at checkout. Only one code or offer can be used per order, and codes cannot be combined.

How you can pay

You can pay by PayPal, by most major credit and debit cards apart from American Express, or with Klarna, which lets you spread the cost over interest-free monthly instalments. We can add or remove payment methods at our discretion.

If you choose Klarna, you accept Klarna's terms and conditions. Klarna decides who it will lend to, so it may not be available to every customer.

Where you pay with Klarna, the credit agreement is between you and Klarna. Anything to do with payments, instalments or fees goes to Klarna directly, and we cannot resolve a payment dispute on your behalf. Klarna's terms and privacy policy are on the Klarna website.

Serious Brands Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 992176) and acts as a credit intermediary, not a lender. We introduce customers to a limited number of finance providers, including Klarna Financial Services UK Limited, and we may receive a commission for doing so. Credit depends on your status and affordability. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident. Late payment or borrowing more than you can afford may affect your credit rating and your ability to borrow in future. Terms and conditions apply.

Serious Brands Ltd owns the copyright in everything on this site. You may use, download, copy, reproduce, republish, post, broadcast, transmit or link to it for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to adapt or alter any of it, not to create derivative work from it, and not to do anything that restricts anyone else's use of the site.
