How does it work?
You can now spread the cost of your Serious Readers order across 6, 9 and 12 month periods by paying with 0% finance, provided by Klarna Retail Finance.
At checkout, you will only need to pay a 20% deposit of the total cost and then complete your finance application directly with Klarna.
What is the minimum spend?
Our interest-free payment option is available on all purchases above £375 (including delivery)
What are the different payment periods?
You can choose to split the payment plan over 6, 9 or 12 months depending on your basket value. Spend £375 to spread the cost over 6 months, £450 for 9 months and £525 for 12 months.
What are my deposit options?
You can pay as little as a 20% deposit, although you can choose 30, 40 or 50% deposits if you'd prefer.
Is there any interest?
No, this is a 0% finance solution. You will not be charged any interest on top of your purchase amount when using this payment method.
What are the terms and conditions?

We advise that you read the terms and conditions carefully before applying.
Are there any other charges?
If you fail to pay any amount you owe under the Credit Agreement by the date it is due, Klarna Bank AB may charge you interest on that amount, they may also levy additional fees – details of these can be found in the credit agreement.
What are the finance requirements?
You must be over 18 years old and a permanent UK resident with 3 years address history. You must have a UK bank account capable of accepting direct debits.
The goods must be delivered to your home address and the deposit must be paid using a credit or debit card.
Do I still receive the 30 day risk-free trial?
Yes, any order placed that is paid for by 0% finance will still be covered by our 30 day risk-free trial period.
What happens if I'd like to swap my light for a different one?
If the light you would like to swap for is the same price as your original light, we will simply arrange to collect the original light and send the new one to you. No extra cost applies for this.
If the light is a different price, the agreement would be cancelled and a new agreement placed.
What happens if I'd like to return my light?
If you would like to return your light within the 30 day risk-free trial period, Serious Readers will arrange collection of your light. After collection, Klarna will issue a refund of the amount paid so far.
Which products can I buy on finance?
All of our products are available to be purchased on 0% finance provided you meet the minimum spend threshold of £375.
What is the credit reference agency that Klarna use?
In order to verify the credit application, Klarna use the credit referencing agency Experian.
Can I cancel the credit agreement?
You have the right under section 66A of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason before the end of 14 days (beginning with the day after the day on which the agreement is made or, if later, the date on which we will tell you that we have signed the agreement). If you wish to withdraw you must give Klarna Bank AB notice in writing or by telephone or email. Please note that if you do give notice of withdrawal, you must repay the full amount of the credit without delay and in any event by no later than 30 days after giving notice of withdrawal.
If you want to settle the loan after the 14 day cooling off period, you may do so but you will also have to pay interest accrued from the date the agreement was made until the date you repay it. If you wish to pay by debit card please telephone the finance company. If you wish to pay by cheque please post it to Klarna Bank AB. Please allow 10 working days from the day you post the cheque to allow time to process the payment.
